Deep In Your Heart

Everyone of us miss being a kid

Everyone miss those days, when the only trouble we had was, eating as many chocolates as we can without decaying our tooth.

We miss those days jumping in the rains, rolling in sand, waiting for the ice cream vendor to go by your street, so that you can treat yourself with one.

Along with all these we even miss a very good quality in everyone of us.

The ability to question.

Great minds and children have one thing in common,

THEY QUESTION.

As days pass, as the cloud called society overshadows our tenacity to question. We consider our self matured.

Well, isn’t it that way? Imagine your self dressed up in a tuxedo and rolling in sand or jumping in the rain or eating your favourite candy ice cream sitting on the stairs of your building.

Sounds weird isn’t it, with enough maturity in our heads it will sound weird but remember these were the things which used to be hell a lot of fun back then.

As we grow up we miss one thing, curiosity.

You aren’t that curious anymore. Are you?

One of my friend Nandan told me a situation about 4 years back, which starts this way

Imagine the waves on the beach rise up all of a sudden, everyone are panicking and running to save themselves, a mother holding her kid in her arms was amongst the crowd galloping to save her kid, whereas the kid is still looking at those fierce waves with his tiny chin on his mother’s shoulder. He doesn’t know what was it on it’s way or have no idea on what happens when the waves slam them. All he knows is, he never came across a sight like that, he is enjoying the view. He watches it with curiosity.

Every little thing used to fascinate us in it’s own way. Makes us ask questions, makes us curious in it’s own way. How curious are we now to know or understand things? When was the last time you were curious to know the other side of the moon or questions similar to a category which excites you.

As time passed, we took our self for granted.

We aren’t feeding the kid in us enough. He is still in you.

Take a moment and feed him up enough, because he is the one who will keep you alive.

Next time, when you go to a park, just don’t sit on the grass make time to swing as well.

Don’t bother about people, you are just feeding the child you thought you lost midway in a run for life.

Appreciate. Get curious. Do little things.Ask questions. Treat yourself. Be a kid once again, he is still present, Deep in your heart.

Sameer this one is for you. You’ve always been a support to me many a times, I always thanked you less than I’m supposed to.

So this one is for you.

Happy Birthday Boy. Stay happy. Stay blessed.

  1. Honestly speaking, I still do what I was doing when I was a kid. Get wounds and bruises, but I feel good. Being a kid at this age is the best thing I can do. It doesn’t only help to change my mood, it also helps in my work.
Be like a kid. You will do more than anyone.
    Live well.

  3. The wonderment yes, but also tact sense of cynicism when natural curiosity kicks in. That gets in the way when you’re grown up. Calming down that inner cynic. Keeps us safe but also keeps us from stuff. That’s the key. But I agree, we need to be children again.
